Inner workings of the large Flying Sub miniature that featured retractable landing gear (never used) and a set of extendable manipulator claws seen in two Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea Season 4 episodes, namely Episode 3, "Cave of the Dead" and Episode 20, "Man-Beast". This photo shows the miniature in its unrestored state. The restored version was sold at Heritage Auctions on 9 December 2025 for $32,500 (including Buyer's Premium).
