Voyage Contact Sheet

Voyage Contact Sheet
Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea contact sheet from the episode Time Lock. Contact sheets (also known as proof sheets) were used to preview photographic negatives taken on the set and selected photographs were used as publicity stills that were made available to press organisations. Original contact sheets were printed on thick photographic paper which generally did not have white boundaries, though occasionally you see them with a single white edge, sometimes with writing on it. Contact sheets were stored by the broadcasting companies in thick ring-folders and sheets usually have two holes at the top or left size. A lot of original contact sheets have photos crossed out with a marker crayon to indicate the shots that were rejected. Circled photos would indicate shots that had been selected for printing. Contact sheet reprints can be found in some photo stores.
