Original "Pacifica" Concept Artwork from City Beneath the Sea (Warner Bros. TV, 1971). Vintage original concept artwork featuring an external view of the enormous, futuristic underwater scientific installation, repurposed as a city called Pacifica, from this imaginative Irwin Allen film intended as a pilot for a full series. In acrylic and gouache measuring 33.75" x 25.5" image size on 4-ply artist illustration board measuring 39" x 30". Companion artwork referenced on pp. 344-346 of "The Fantasy Worlds of Irwin Allen" by Jeff Bond, Creature Features 2019. Fine, with original black cropping tape and acetate wrapping. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
