Background Building Miniature

Lighted lab fixture from Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea (Twentieth Century-Fox, 1961). Tall yellow-painted wooden lab fixture with red transparencies, mounted to a large wooden base. Internal light fixture is designed to illuminate the red transparencies. Used also as a background building for City Beneath the Sea (NBC, 1971), and possibly other Irwin Allen productions of the 1960s-70s. Measures approx. 7 feet tall.
