Seaview Beneath the Ice Concept Artwork

Original "Seaview" Beneath the Ice Concept Artwork from Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea (TCF, 1961). Vintage original concept artwork featuring the "Seaview" submarine diving beneath icebergs. An early design by art director Herman Blumenthal. In tempera and gouache measuring 34.25" x 12" and mounted on 39.5" x 14.75" 4-ply artist illustration board, housed in an archival mat hinged with clear mylar overlay. Actual artwork reproduced on p. 98 of "The Fantasy Worlds of Irwin Allen" by Jeff Bond, Creature Features 2019. Fine, with light scuffs to artwork and paper loss on the borders from mount removal. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
