Original Mort Künstler Final Poster Artwork for The Poseidon Adventure (TCF, 1972). Dramatic vintage original key art used for posters, advertisements and displays to promote the Irwin Allen-produced disaster film. Accomplished in mixed media on illustration board measuring 39.75" x 37" (image area is 32" x 29.25"). Signed "MKünstler" at the lower left. Released in December 1972, The Poseidon Adventure became the highest grossing film of 1973 and won two Academy Awards. Original final poster artwork from major films rarely appears on the market. From the personal collection of Irwin Allen. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
